Dimmable bulbs work in combination with a dimmer switch and allow you to determine the desired light output. Dimming also provides energy saving potential because less power is required when the lamp is producing less light.

A fixture with a tiltable design makes it possible to direct the lighting specifically at an object or surface. This can play a particularly important role in shops (putting a new collection in the spotlight) or galleries (accentuating works of art). It can also influence the purchasing behaviour or interpretation of visitors.

The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof. |

Installation
Designed for indoor use, this Boston wall light has IP20 protection and operates on 220-240 V mains voltage. It uses a GU10 light source.
