Lighting with a voltage of 220-240 Volt can be connected directly to the mains. Lighting with a different mains voltage (12 Volt and 24 Volt) requires an (electronic) transformer.

Dimmable bulbs work in combination with a dimmer switch and allow you to determine the desired light output. Dimming also provides energy saving potential because less power is required when the lamp is producing less light.

Many LED fixtures in our range have a built-in LED module, but there are also fixtures that are available excluding the bulb. In that case, we have a suitable LED bulb, LED spotlight bulb or LED fluorescent tube available for every fixture without a bulb.

A fixture with a tiltable design makes it possible to direct the lighting specifically at an object or surface. This can play a particularly important role in shops (putting a new collection in the spotlight) or galleries (accentuating works of art). It can also influence the purchasing behaviour or interpretation of visitors.

Are you specifically looking for an (LED) fixture that you can install on the ceiling, wall or floor? With this filter, you can easily select your preferred type of mounting. Please note that certain fixtures can be mounted in multiple ways using the installation materials supplied (e.g. a LED bulkhead). Mounting is also possible using individually purchasable fixture accessories, such as a frame or suspension kit for a LED panel. |

The IP value indicates the degree of protection against the ingress of moisture and dust. The 1st digit (0 = not protected until 6 = completely dustproof) indicates the protection against dust. The 2nd digit (0 = not protected until 8 = protected against immersion) indicates the protection against water. Products with an IP44 rating are splashproof and products with an IP65 rating or higher are (completely) dustproof and waterproof. |

The colour of the fixture can play a major role in the interior design of a room. You can opt for a neutral white design or a darker colour, such as black or silver, to make the light source stand out or even turn it into a decorative feature on its own.

Installation
The Griffin wall light operates on 220-240 V and is designed for a replaceable E27 light source. It can be dimmed when used with a dimmable light source and a compatible dimmer. With an IP44 rating, the fixture is suitable for outdoor wall use, including areas where protection against splashing water is required.
FAQ
Which light source does it use?
It uses a replaceable E27 light source. Compatibility depends on selecting the correct E27 type for the fixture and your preferred lighting effect.
Is it dimmable?
Yes. It is dimmable when fitted with a dimmable E27 light source and used with a suitable compatible dimmer.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. The IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water, making it suitable for outdoor wall-mounted use in exposed or sheltered areas.
How should it be cleaned?
Clean with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth. The aluminium housing has plastic elements, so avoid abrasive cleaners to preserve the finish.
